Theme options help you make changes on overall site like site layouts, color, menu, sidebar, portfolio or even more. However, it’d not work as charm all the time as people want to migrate their site or update a new version of theme. Of course, you don’t want to lost all of your stuffs that spending months to months to have what it looks.
This might a night mare and frustrated experience to start from the scratch. Every premium theme has its panel options that allows backing up your stuffs. Alaska theme has a bunch of easy-to-configure options and you are able to save your settings within Import/Export option.
From very bottom of General Settings of Alaska Options, you can see the option Import/Export. Upon clicking on the menu, it performs a list of options that you can proceed either Import or Export data. In this case, you will be choosing one of three options below Export options. Copy Data allows you to copy its codes so you can save to anywhere, for example: a word doc file. Similarly, Download Data File allows downloading the file with a predefined extension (.json). Copy Export URL option means you can copy the link of the file already saved on other host.
To import the backed up files, you can use the respective options with Import options.
